You know what I like? Shopping. A lot. So much, in fact, that I decided to start a shopping blog to share some of my great deals - and the not-so-great deals that I lust after - with other shopaholics. My favorite things to shop for include:
- clothes for my kids
- shoes
- purses, pens, notebooks, and hair accessories
- books
- records
- bedding and house-y stuff
- stuff for my cat
I love getting deals, but these days I try not to buy things just because they are on sale; they have to be things we will
actually use. Because of this, I don't buy much in the way of house-y stuff (since we have boxes and boxes of unused house-y stuff in our garage) and I buy far too many clothes (because you always need clothes - right?!) Here at the Shocking Shopaholic, I'll be posting all the best stuff I find, online as well as out and about. I'm not the fancy-shmancy type - my husband and I are both full-time students in a small Midwestern town, so finding the couturesque at places like Kmart and Target has become a hobby of mine. I also scour the sale racks at my two longtime favorites, Gap and Gymboree. You (and your kids)
can look good on a budget!! And I'm here to help!! :)
